This is a beautiful shopping center. Stunning. Mix of reasonably priced and higher priced shops. I only wish Eaton's was actually still here.

Just love to spend time there but watch out for overcrowding on weekends! Great variety from luxury to mid and lower range prices.

We shopped at Yorkdale and then later the same day at the Eaton Centre. We actually preferred Yorkdale as they had a bigger selection of stores. Once we arrived at the Eaton Centre we realized most of the stores were the same as at Yorkdale. It is conveniently located and easy to walk to if you stay at the Sheraton... More

We went and had a look at the Eaton Centre as it was a bit of a rainy day. It's just a big shopping mall. Seen one you seen them all. If you like shopping then this place is for you, for me it was a quick walk around then out to look for something else to see. This is... More

Over the March break my grandmother and I decided to take a day trip to Toronto and try out the Eaton Centre. I am a big shopper and even my grandmother who isn't, loved this mall. It is huge. I am a big shopper at Georgian mall and Upper Canada mall so this place was like heaven. It is 4... More

The Eaton Centre is a great mall for a one stop shop. It's great for locals and tourists alike, with so many different stores to choose from, as well as a wide selection of food options for when you get hungry. Be ready to put aside a few hours of your day to roam around here.

It was like any other huge malls elsewhere in the world. But I came to know that this center has a very long history of about 500 years with it which is nevertheless a great thing. I spent many hours here and in fact used it as my short passage from Yonge Street to Queen's park side while I was... More

Toronto is a great place for shopping malls and the Eaton Centre is arguably the best (up there with Yorkdale and Square One). Whether you're looking for Hipster things, non-Hipster things, wide assortments of shops, specialty shops and a great food court, this mall has it all. The large, northern area is also now home to Nordtstrom and this has... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
