We attend a few events in the Elgin Theatre each year. It is a grand old building but is starting to look frayed at the edges and a bit shabby.

Took a high school group here and were given a tour. Definitely a not-to-be missed piece of Toronto's history. Would love to catch a show here.

Saw Grease here in November and it is one of the most beautiful theatres I have visited! Will definitely be back to see another show there!

Had the opportunity to attend Grease, but before the show we accidentally ended up on a tour of the theatre. Learned the history as we travelled throughout the whole theatre--it made the evening performance even more special because we had an appreciation for the building...More

My Mom used to go to this theater when she was a child. We went there for a show and she said it had been restored beautifully and was how she remembered it looking.

We enjoyed visiting this theatre for shows on a regular basis. Seating is great and its located in the Yonge/Dundas area. There is lots to do in this area, including shopping and having dinner before a show.

The theatre is small & intimate (only 90 seats). It appeared like there wasn't a bad seat in the house (orchestra level). The stage crew do a fantastic job. Impressive sets & lighting system. The ceiling is stunning. The only downside that I noticed is...More

I always like seeing a play here close to Eatons centre, The theatre is historic yet comfortable and on the subway and TTC route. Parking is close if you are driving. The acoustics are goood.

Stage door sometimes refers to the back exit/entrance for actors, so I'll assume this is what you mean. If you call the box office I'm sure they can help. It's an old building, so it's possible there's no stage door. If... More

The seating is good anywhere, I would say. No need to pay top dollar to get a good seat in the house and enjoy a show.
