Although Toronto's waterfront has received criticism over the years, the MGT is a great biking trial. It runs approx 56 km along Lake Ontario (fairly flat). Riding your bike along the trial with the breeze coming off Lake Ontario makes for a relaxing ride. There are restaurants and shops at harbourfront and there are occasional food stands along the trial... More

I've been riding this trail for many many years, it just keeps getting worse and worse. Let me take you from Woodbine Beach in the east all the way to Humber Bay Park in the west. The trail by Woodbine Beach tends to be very busy, with pedestrians ignoring a perfectly good pedestrian boardwalk next to the bike path, this... More

If you're going biking here during good weather on the weekend, watch out for walkers, strollers, basically lots of people who don't read or pay attention to the rules of the path. You'll have to dodge people walking in the middle, or all spread out, even if you ring your bell. It's BEAUTIFUL waterfront and some parts by Harbourfront and... More

The Martin Goodman trail is a great trail for inline skating that cuts right into the downtown Toronto Waterfront.

Martin Goodman Trail is a bicycle and inline skate path running alongside the Lake Ontario. While some sections are just next to the Lake Shore Boulevard, some parts of the path are running into the nature. The trail passes through between the South end of the Silver Birch Avenue in the Beaches in the East to the East end of... More

Really enjoyed the walk around here, next to the park and looking across to the skyline. The views were incredible although some parts along the trail were pretty messy and needing maintenance. Definitely worth a wander!

The trail is a great place to ride. There are lots of people around, but no cars allowed. It follws the beach and Boardwalk all the way to Etobicoke. One thing I didn't understand is the closed and locked gates beside Ontario Place. They made for a very narrow and somewhat dangerous place to go through. People from both directions... More
