About 20-30 min drive from downtown Toronto, BAPS stands out as a hidden immaculate gem among gray business and industrial boxed type buildings. There is no fee to get in and for parking. To get in the seasonal exhibit, however, there is a 5$ adult...More

The outside of this Mandir is a splendour of awe. Just marvel at the intricate carvings on the building and main entrance. If that was not enough to make one speech less, adventuring inside was a divine experience. Something words or pictures cannot describe, one...More

In the world of mass production, automation and volume production, this unique skill to carve out of marble and make such large structures is amazing. Do not miss (1) Murti Darshan - the sacred shrine visit at the upper deck temple and the exquisite carvings...More

It was beautiful to see the stone architecture! It also has a small museum inside the temple which provides in-depth view of ancient Indian history.

A slice on India in one temple! That's how I would summarise this place. You should visit to see the intensity of details that exist!

I'm glad we made the drive. We just missed a huge celebration. They were taking everything down when we got there. The inside is as beautiful as the outside. Had some leftover food that was offered to us. And yes, no shoes in the building.

It is a Hindu temple. As I have never visited one before, I found it quite impressive. The outlook is very magnificent, while the inside is very delicate. Go and look for yourself.
