Several fun stores, artez and up-scale consignent store. Old Walkerville was built was Hiram Walker who had a distellery here. He built a community that included terrace homes for his managers and workers. Take a walk down Monmouth and see the century homes that he built for workers using a reowned Detroit architect. Also Willistead Park surrounds his home Willistead... More

Restaurants, art galleries, book stores, boutiques, mature tree-lined streets, historical businesses and houses. Surrounded by history with the best shops/restaurants. This is the must see neighbourhood for visitors and the coolest place to live.

My daughter took me. I HAD NO IDEA, and I'm from the area! Unique stores and restaurants galore. Home of one of Canada's world renouned distilleries with a strong history and museum, right on the shores of the Detroit River where great views have been preserved. Stroll - just stroll and enjoy. Food, art, food and concepts for young people.... More

Historic old building with a tavern on main floor. We had chicken fingers with onion ring side that was enough for three people. Also had two monster burgers which lived up to the name. Big burger with fried onions and sweet peppers and cheese. Looks like a local pub in evenings with entertainment, don't know what night. Nice old tavern good... More

I live close by so I'm a bit partial. Lots of fun places to try. My fave? Kildare House. Go see Vinnie, Dan or Jack at the bar. They rock. Walkerville Tavern, Wineology, Walkerville Eatery, Twisted Apron, Walkerville Brewery, Vito's and Lorelei's are all fabulous. Fun festivals, weekend markets. Walkerville has it all. Welcome!

A great neighbourhood that has gone under many changes in the last few years. It has become a fun place to shop and dine. A few more artsy shops would fit in and draw more out to the area to compliment the fabulous restaurants and drinking establishments. Do not hesitate to visit the Walkerville area rich in history and some... More

My favourite venue among several attractions is the Walkerville Brewery. An ambiance that is so different and pleasant from other "bars". Each Friday they offer Bites and Beers in the late afternoon with a selection of 6 beers on tap and a different restaurant each month cooking food on site. During the Friday night Bites and Beers they offer a... More

Hello I resently visited Old Walkerville and loved the endless restaurants and attractions. We ate at the Twisted Apron, great food and atmosphere. Then we stopped by the brewery and sampled some of our finest beer, lager, and others. I would advise anyone to stop and experience Old Walkerville. Thank you
