By chance, on a self-guided walking tour of Summerside's historic homes, I came upon the Wyatt Historic House tour, just about to begin. It was slow-season (September, so one should take the trouble to book ahead for this exceptional tour) and only four other people were in my group - a perfect number to be able to see and hear... It was just my husband and myself on a tour of this lovely old home with our entertaining and enthusiastic young guide who clearly knows her subject. She had interesting tidbits of information to offer on the contents of every room and the lifestyle of the family in general. We enjoyed her tour very much. Tickets for the tour are... More

The oddity tour is held in the Waytt Historic house. We went specifically to attend this particular tour. Unfortunately the day we attended, the individual who gives this particular tour was not available. Nothing is mentioned on the web site about this so call ahead to ensure that it is being held the day you attend. Had we known that... More
