Quebec City is beautiful. After walking through it, and take your time because there is more to see than you might think, try one of the boat tours. The boat tour provides an entirely different view of the city and will help you appreciate its beauty even more.

Our journey started in Boston, then Bar Harbor, Maine, Sydney, Prince Edward Island, Halifax, then to Quebec and Montreal. The beauty of these places alone is more than I can tell you about!!! The rich culture of the Indian tribe, to the Mont mercy Falls to the beauty of Quebec city is just fabulous!!!! I highly recommend all taking this... More

The St. Lawrence River is in the United States and Canada. We enjoyed the river from land and a bayliner. From land, we got scenic views of the St. Lawrence in Alexandria Bay, NY at Captain Thompson’s Resort which is located right on the riverfront across from Boldt Castle. On the water, we cruised the river on the 2½ hour... More

Quick and Scenic crossing on the Ferry from East to West across the Saint Lawrence River! The Ferry here runs between Sorel and Tracy and is quite reasonable! For our vehicle and me as the Driver the Total Cost was $CN 7.90 and for my Wife, a Passenger, the cost was $CN 3.15 . Note that my Wife and I... More

We took a two hour cruise on the St. Lawrence while in Quebec. There are a couple of companies at the dock who offer these. It doesn't matter which you pick. It is a tranquil float trip. The trip was narrated, but sitting outside on the deck, you couldn't really hear because the speakers were distorted. Go for the view,... More

We drove up and down the river last week and were not too impressed by it. The river is kinda dirty and not very pretty to look at. It kinda reminded me off the Hudson river in NYC.

Built in the 1950’s, the St. Lawrence Seaway is a series of locks and canals plus deepened channels that connect the Great Lakes to the Atlantic ocean and permits ocean-going vessels to travel all the way to Lake Superior. The major construction work took place on the St. Lawrence River from Lake Ontario to Montreal. Locks and canals were built... More

This was a great cruise! I believe it was 1-2 hours long. One of my favorite ways of exploring a new place, is to take a ferry ride or a short cruise. On this cruise, we saw waterfalls, an old farm and our tour guide was wonderful! It was a beautiful sunny day, a bit windy up on top. The... More

We put on our orange suits and got into a large raft type boat to set out across the St Lawrence..Very little paperwork, very few directions and a lot of whales. Beluga, Minke all very close while respecting the required distances. We did return slightly wet but completely thrilled with our trip. No big boats with loud engines. I believe... More
