The Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors. This unique natural attraction is the most important preserved wildlife sanctuary in the Montreal region. What can be more exciting than observing animals in their natural habitat? Admire the flora of the park's many marshes, islands and banks, in a canoe, kayak, rabaska, pedal boat or row boat. Enjoy the scenery while hiking on the many trails of the park or take the Route bleue des voyageurs, a 155-kilometre navigable route divided into eight sections that runs from the Ottawa River region to Laval and end in the Lanaudière region.

Water stinks, park usually has people smoking drugs in it. But it is a nice park along the water. Places available to sit.

Hi, Thank for your comment. The Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles has built and made available ten islands and both banks. We are working hard to enlarge our area of intervention. There surveillance day and night. We can not be everywhere at once but we will do our best to handle this situation. I sincerely hope you have a better experience... More

An old convent stands between the street and the dock, reminding of the history of Old Sainte-Rose. This is a great place for a picnic, a game of volleyball or just admiring nature. Not to be missed is kayaking on the Mille-Isles river, where you can paddle around neighboring Gagnon Island, Céline Dion's multi-million dollar estate. Little ducklings also paddle,... More

I have visited the park last August as part of a family event and I also live quite close to it and pass by the river every day and see the beauty of it in both winter and summers. I find it to be a really nice natural area where people are encouraged to come and unwind. Here's how my... More

I actually have taken my yoga students for Breathwalk sessions here every weekend during the summer months. Great place to "live in the moment" with quiet walks, go for a run or picnic or get out and paddle. Winter months you can walk over the frozen river but dress very warm the winter chill can be up to -30c

I make sure to visit Mille-Iles River Park (Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles) every summer. I find the rates to be affordable, and the equipment has always been in excellent condition. You can get off on the Island, or just paddle your way around the island, you'll be sure to see some wild life! Everybody will love it!

Mille-Iles River Park is mainly composed of a series of islands on the river between Laval and the North Shore. With a growing interest in kayaking, my wife and I went there this morning (12 minutes from our home and had a great time paddling the calm waters amidst the islands in the company of ducks, geese and other kayak...
