We love Segways. They need to give a little better location info. Had to ask a few place before we found them. Great location by the river. They were not busy, so we paid for 1/2 hour. Our ride was over 45 minutes. Really nice guide and very informative.

We arrived late because roads were closed around Old Montreal for a bike tour, but when we finally arrived, they were patiently waiting for us. Andreanne was amazing with my 72 year old partially paralyzed brother. She gave him confidence, worked with him at his pace, and encouraged him. It was great to see the huge smile on his face... Now called Ecorecreo in Parc Jean-Drapeau, a really cool thing to experience while you're here. Patient, friendly, English-speaking staff are sure to show you a good time. Highly recommend. Especially fun with a group.

Love this! Have been with them twice, both times were great. They provide a bit of training to get you comfortable, the machines are easy to use, then take you on a great tour around the park. Great way to experience the area!

The company has been sold to EcoRecreo. The location is in Parc Jean Drapeau on St. Helen's Island, 2 min. over the Jacques Cartier Bridge and also accessible by metro. The Segway Tour lasts for 1 hour and you do get to watch a video & practise in front of the rental office before the tour - so do get... More

What fun! Located right next to the Jean Drapeau metro stop its easy to get to and get back from, though we took the ferry from the old port which was $7.50 per person and then walked to the shop. Tour starts with a video about segway safety then you get a quick lesson, which is all it takes, then... More

This segway rental shop is awesome. The equipement is good. The training is just perfect. The guide is really pleasant and the island where this takes place is a gem. Onlt downside : car directions and car parking instructions are not well explained on their web site. It is very diffcult to find your way there.

Staying in Parc Jean-Drapeau

Neighbourhood Profile
Parc Jean-Drapeau
The islands of Saint-Helene and Notre-Dame together make up the anchored fabric of Parc Jean-Drapeau. The mostly man-made grounds were built to be the site of the 1967 World's Fair, and the chiefly car-free space still retains its inherited carnival character. A wonderland of foliage and flora awaits at the Jardins des Floralies, with its expanse of pond-marked wetlands making it perfect for hiking, nature walks, and exploration. Old exhibitions still straddle the newest entertainment complexes, including the high-flying roller coasters of La Ronde Amusement Park and the brightly-lit Casino de Montréal. From the springtime on, families crowd the sandy beaches with candy-striped umbrellas, and rowers take to the Olympic Basin, where the spherical American Pavilion and the high brick Tour de Lévis provide an atypical backdrop. A short metro trip carries visitors and locals to this vacationing spot, providing leisure and activity outside of the inner city.
