I have gone to this cigar lounge three or four times and it’s now something I do whenever I go to Montreal. The atmosphere is good, not too loud or obnoxious, and the wait staff is very friendly. Cigar/drink prices are not that expensive and they have a large selection. The best part is that there is no cutting fee... More

Found this place by accident and glad I did. Staff is friendly and service is good. Humidor has good selection of Cigars. The layout is nice, has huge couches to kick back on and relax while enjoying your favorite cigar, which you can purchase there or bring your own. It also has a balcony for the nice summer nights you... More

I loooove this place. Among the rare ones in Montreal where you can bring your own cigar without charge. Service is perfect. Reasonable choice of cigars if you don't have yours. Peaceful atmosphere downtown. ideal to end a hard work day or to bring a client or to chill with friends with a drink and a smoke. A must Go... More

I love a good Cuban cigar with a glass of private cask rum. Stogies hit the spot. I took my fiance with me to introduce her to the calmi g enjoyment of a good cigar. Located on Crescent off of St Catherines, we had no problems finding the place. Finding parking however, was a different matter. This area is lie... More

Fewer and fewer of these places exist and that alone makes this special. On every trip I've made to Montreal over the years I've made it a point to visit here in the afternoon or late evening after dinner and a little clubbing along Crescent Street Stogies has a great selection of cigars for all different price ranges and tastes.... Nice bar, more adult than the attractions in the area. Obviously appropriate for smokers, but have yet to have a cigar there. Next time!

One of the very few places left where you can enjoy a cigar with friends or watch a sports game. The place itself could use a bit of refurbishment and the cocktails could also be better but still good for going once in a while for an after dinner smoke or a fun night out. It also has a small... Great Place...in the Downtown Montreal. For some odd reason, the place is not allowed to serve anything bit drinks!!!! I find it really strange, but somehow accept it. Nice location at the corner of Crescent / Maisonneuve, where you are allowed to enjoy your cigar and drink; no cigarettes, no snacks and no food.....

Thank munemu

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
