Beautiful sight

The cathedral was under construction when my boyfriend and I visited, February 2017, but it was still worth the stop. Beautiful inside and out.

My Husband and I went to New Years Day mass here. The Basilique is so beautiful to see and what made it even more special was being able to hear mass on a very special day.

This is an amazing site to visit. Even though renovations are in progress, it is still beautiful. Be sure to see the Holy Door, one of only 8 in the world.

My wife and I visited this church and attended mass in February. It is a beautiful building but in the midst of what look to be significant renovations. However still lots to see including the altar. A must see while in Quebec City.

As with a few Cathedrals and many Catholic Churches worldwide, this has been ravaged by fire more than once even if 'officially' it is 350 years old. Compared to many others, it does not have a huge forecourt. Its nave was impressive and altar fit for purpose. It was serene as I tried to visit as late as possible in... More

A short walk from the Hotel Frontenac. The main naive was under scheduled refurbishment, but we were able to enter on the side and it is a beautiful cathedral and will be awesome when the renovations are complete!

It was very beautiful inside which you couldn't tell from the outside. I always like going into churches to see the architecture and paintings and other art work.

It as absolutely breath-taking. They are renovating the center section of the seating, but the true beauty is all still visible. A must-see for sure!

The church is beautiful place of worship and is currently under a great deal of construction. I have to say that it annoyed me to have two collection boxes that were each Larger than I am to collect donations to the church for the privilege of walking through it, but had a box on the back wall smaller than my... You will NOT be disappointed with a visit to the ornately decorated Basilique Cathedral Notre Dame de Quebec, but as of January, it is CLOSED for renovations that will take until at least summer as far as we can tell.
