One of my favorite parts of the trip. Tough hills if you are handicap but in a scooter you can do it. Theres some great art stores and the Petit (Rabbit ) Restaurant was really good!

while the street is mainly shops the buildings are historic. The selection of shops is varied and non of them are 'junk' shops. There is something almost for everyone. Photographically this a a good location.

Go early or late to avoid the crowds. There is usually live entertainment available with many restaurants and shops.

We walked up slowly to the top and back. There are steps to climb or walk up. Yes, it is close to the port and walking distance to restaurants and stores.

We were there November 10-12 and they were putting up the decorations and setting up the Christmas village shops on the square. At Thanksgiving they will be in full swing for Christmas
