One of Québec’s best-kept secrets and one of the most spectacular view of the Old Town. Located at the heart of Old Québec City, the ride (one-way) takes about 12 minutes. During summertime, discover the marked bike paths located on both sides of the shore: Corridor du Littoral (Quebec City) and Parcours des Anses (Lévis). In winter, the mouvement of the ice on the St. Lawrence River is truly impressing.

Grab a warm beverage to bring with you, sit back and relax. This is fast, affordable and beautiful. We took the ferry in December and gliding through the frozen water was such a cool experience complimented by the gorgeous Chateau Frontenac in the background.

Thank you JLZach7 for your comment! We're glad you liked your crossing. At nightime or in summertime, the ferry offers a totally different experience... but always a gorgeous view of the Old Quebec City :)

Took the Ferry to Levis and turned right around and came back to Quebec City. The views were picture perfect. The fact that the river was full of ice made the trip even more exciting. Worth the small price just for the photos of Quebec...More

We took the ferry, pretty cheap, across the river. We got some awesome shots and stopped in for a beer at their local brewery.

On our recent trip to Quebec, we stayed in Levis, necessitating some way to get across the river into the city. The ferry was a fun, reliable, pretty inexpensive way to go. (Be sure to ask for the discounted child (5-15) or senior (65+) ticket...More

We stayed at Place d'Armes, a boutique hotel across the street from the Chateau Frontenac. If you walk down the steps to the bottom of the escarpment, the ferry arrives and departs right there.
