One of Quebec’s best-kept secrets is the ferry ride to the town of Levis (directly across the St. Lawrence River) and the spectacular view of the city. Located at the heart of Old Québec, the roundtrip takes about 45 minutes. Daily year-round 6 a.m.-2:20 a.m.

We simply rode over and back with the commuters during what was, on shore, the five o'clock rush. Yes, it was a bit crowded, but it was also amazingly relaxing and delightful to watch the flow of the river, the conversations around us, and the...More

We took the ferry across to Levis, walked around their park area and took the ferry back. Lovely view of Quebec City. Nice way to spend an hour or so on a pretty day.

The ferry runs every 30 minutes in the summer and takes just 15 minutes to cross the river from where you get the very best view of the city. It costs about $7 return and is well worth it. There is a park on the...More

Want to see the best of Old Quebec? Try a few days in Levi and take the ferry to and from the city. Perfect view of the Frontenac, plains of Abraham and great view of very large ships traveling up and down the St. Lawrence

The ferry runs every 20-30 minutes and only costs about $3.50. The views of Québec City and of Lévis are truly breathtaking. I especially recommend taking the ferry from Lévis to Québec at sunset! I especially recommend this ferry ride to photography enthusiasts :)

We took the Levis ferry to get a good view of the Chateau Frontenac, which was accomplished. Right after the ferry leaves the dock, you can look back and see the hill, Chateau, and restaurants on the river. I would suggest taking this trip on...More

We were staying in Levis on holiday and wanted to visit Old Town, Quebec City. Taking the car would restrict us and be expensive so we decided to take the ferry. There are some good family fares available. Unfortunately there are major road works taking...More

A google search of the ferry shows prices from $8.40-$16.50 depending on the size of your vehicle. That includes the driver but I believe each additional person in the car pays. Google will lead you to the website for a more... More
