We happened to impulsively visit Quebec since the price of the hotels were a steal. However, it was dead in the winter so we were freezing. Luckily, the sun came out one day and we booked a tour to the ice hotel (only available from a certain period of time - December to March ?). It was around 30 minutes... More

This was an indescribable experience. Viewing the individually carved rooms at night with all of the colored lights was an exquisite experience. Absolutely go if you're in the area in winter.

Loved it.Quite an experience seeing all the hotel rooms with different designs, the bar, the chapel, the spa, etc. If one wants to see something different and unique, that is the place ! We didn't stay there but I know it is very popular. It must be an exciting experience and I would do it without hesitation (although price is... More

This was one of the coolest things we have ever done! We booked with a groupon and stayed one night. They have a little lesson on the how to with the sleeping bag to ensure you are snuggled up tight. They send out a packing list so that you have the right types of clothing to make sure you are... More

I actually visited here back in 2010. We just went to see what it was like but did not spend the night. If you are Quebec during the season this is a must, you will be blown away by the detail and artistic abilities and creativity that this place displays. We enjoyed a hot choclate and glass of wine from... More

A nice journey into the country to view something we have only been fortunate to see here. You can tour, or actually stay in the hotel. The rooms, the chapel, the bar, the hot tubs.....ok,,,I still wouldn't stay there, but you can see it is enticing. Nice trip.

Took a bus tour to the ice hotel to check it out, it was amazing! So glad we went. Not sure I'd want to sleep there but a visit is definitely worth the time. You can stop in and buy a beverage at the hotel bar (they also sold warm drinks in front of the hotel). Make sure to check... More

My girlfriends and I spent our 40th celebration here! We stayed one night in the ice hotel and the rest of the time in Quebec. It was the experience of a lifetime! We snowmobiled and Dogsledded as well. I understand the location will change this year as they signed a new contract in a new location for the next 5... More

Out of the beaten paths... Something different from everything you know. Very well worth the price. I live in Québec and go every year. Have had visitors from out of the country that were amazed!
