It is "petite" but for the fisherman and trades community in Tadoussac at the time, it was exactly what they needed. It is a nice wooden chapel. On the shore of the St Laurent estuary/golf.

The church was closed. It is being fully restored, over 200 hundred years old. Spent the day on the foreshore enjoying the views. Lots to do there.

I was able to take some great pictures of and around the church. The town is terrific. Many people speak "only" French.

This was lovely little white wooden church with small graveyard by the sea. At first i´m not noticed that but when i walked throught second time i read that this is oldest wooden church in North-America. Very picturesque.

Very small chapel, one of the oldest in North America, lovely woman at entrance that will answer any questions, entrance fee is at your will, as much , or little as you want.
