Reviewed yesterday NEW

was a wonderful day. I thought things were well set up. some of the enclosures are on the small side but I hope that in the future with people giving donations maybe that will be changed.

Stress free environment to hang out with your littles. No worries about traffic, bikes, or dogs. You can relax and let your toddler run ahead a bit. We thoroughly enjoy this place with our family and recommend it to all friends with young children.

Great place to visit. Lots to see and do. Kids love it. Even a trout fishing pond ( which was free one weekend, thanks to " Kops, Kids and Canadian Tire."

Wow, this place is amazing!!! We took our 7 and 9 year old boys on the weekend! We've been to big zoos before and really weren't sure what to expect for this one!! We were so impressed with this zoo! For a smaller zoo, it was awesome! The grounds were well kept and despite the fact there were some areas... More

This zoo, though on the small side, is a wonderful, relaxing place to wander about and view animals, birds, etc. Yet I left wondering whether it is right in ethical, human terms to place larger wild animals -- wolves, cougar, bears and lynx -- for the sake of human enjoyment/entertainment, in captivity where the surroundings are far from "natural." I... More

Took my grandkids and walked around the large grounds and saw all varieties of animals from toads and fish to komodo dragon, eagles, bears , deer and several of the large feline and canine species. The animals have large dwellings and are well looked after. You can buy an annual pass for $80 which if an awesome deal and go as... More

We take in the Forestry Farm once or twice a year with our children and young grandchildren. We always enjoy the experience. It is a great walk in natural surroundings in the heart of the city. Lots of room for the young kids to run around, some playground equipment, and, or course the animals. The kids have a great time.

I was skeptical about what a zoo in Saskatoon would offer but we were pleasantly surprised with the attractions and the layout, even in February. When we visited, there was a small winter festival on and we were treated to a great demonstration of ice-carving. We will return in the summer.
