I found Boreale through a colleague who is going with a large group for a summer mountain bike trip. Some quick research let me know the lodge wasn't to far from my old Yukon home! When I arrived at the new Boreale Lodge Mountain Biking activity centre, a group had just arrived back from a hard day on the mountain tracks and were enjoying aperitifs in the large comfortable lounge. I was on Boreale's "Summer Solstice" tour, which included a four night stay in their "Yurtville", a collection of fine yurts and prospector tents just outside Whitehorse in a quiet, out of the way setting.
