We have visited the site on a number of occasions. Members of English Heritage get both free entry and car parking at this site. The actual villa foundations are housed within a windowless steel framed building and you will need to wrap up warm if visiting during the winter. There is plenty of information about the ruins as you wander... More

We had a lovely day out here. The gin and wine samples on offer were an added bonus. Isobel, the lovely young manager, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the Villa and went out of her way to answer any of our questions. A well presented venue, lovely gift shop and small seated area with hot drinks machine. Interactive exhibits... More

Lullingstone Roman Villa is simply fantastic. Far more to see of the Villa itself than i expected and the mosaics are stunning definately worth a visit

In a beautiful valley close to Eynsford village lies Lullingstone Roman Villa. English Heritage, so free entry and parking for members. Exhibition is good for general interest and children have some activities. The truth is that little is known about the history of the villa so much of what you "learn" is speculative. The exposed remains of the villa is... More

Visited on an Autumnal Sunday afternoon after visiting the nearby Eagle Heights. It's an English Heritage Site and so was immaculately presented, clean and efficient / knowledgable staff members. Very interesting set tip with interaction for children however I think it is quite expensive for what you actually get to see / experience.

Lullingstone Roman Villa is a small site. Those who have visited Fishbourne Roman Palace will find it pretty tiny in comparison, and there's nothing like the beautiful mosaics that there are to feast the eyes upon at Fishbourne. The Villa is, as its name suggests, on a different scale: foundations of a few rooms and one mosaic floor. However, good... More

We visited here, but was quite disappointed. We love history and looked forward to learn about this uncovered villa, although all the information was based on 'this could have been'... Which left you not really learning a lot about the villas true history. Some interesting relics found on the site, but overall our visit, including watching the information video, which... More

Hadn't planned on visiting the villa-in fact, it wasn't even mentioned in either or our guidebooks. Glad we saw it listed at another English Heritage site. So we stopped by-and it is amazing! Fully covered area, you can explore the ruins at your leisure, assisted by very informative panels along the way-and even more informative staff. It gives one pause... More

I'm sure we have all seen pictures and films of the villa but when you enter through the door you will be impressed not only by the size but the tranqility. A great way to spend an hour.
