Amazing close ups with birds of prey

We enjoyed our experience with the Meerkats courtesy of Groupon .We were greeted warmly by the staff and had a warm drink at the tea room. The view across the valley is lovely and we could imagine in summer that this is a different place. The member of staff who took us into the Meerkats was professional and gave us lots of... The birds of prey were fantastic, it was a dull windy day and we caught the display 1/2 way through and managed to find seats. It was truly a educational experience to have Eagles , Falcons and many other large birds of prey swooping across and around your heads, two huge birds of prey were running between the audiences legs... The home of Crystal Palace's eagle mascot. Eagle Hight's is a very popular place to visit and in the Summer there are bird flying displays. Sometimes the occasional bird is naughty and flies of for a while but the do come back. Last summer three of my grandchildren (8-11 and 13) and their Dad had an overnight sleepover with the... More

We discovered this wonderful place by chance and are delighted to have done so. The wildlife park is a family run, not for profit organisation. It is clear from the outset that their passion and priorities are the welfare of all their animals and a strong conviction for conservation which is demonstrated by their active breeding program. The commitment and... More

After a poor visit last time, I stupidly thought I would give them a second chance. Wish I hadn't. Staff / volunteers can be (and are) often rude and grumpy. This starts at the front desk and doesn't improve. The birds look lovely, but weirdly somehow other places seem to do it better (Leeds castle as an example). It's a... More

Firstly let me start by looking at your comment regarding the staff. From reading other reviews on trip adviser about Eagle Heights it would seem that this comment is not consistent with other reviews. (We are however human so maybe it was an off day). For example I have taken some quotes from other reviews about eagle heights: ''we spent... More

Having received a gift voucher, I booked a VIP Activity Day to share with my Wife - it was wonderful. The staff and volunteers are very knowledgeable and clearly put the interests of the creatures in their care absolutely top of the list. We were lucky enough to meet a black (or at least dark coloured) Barn Owl as part... More

Our 3rd time visiting the huskies, walked them first 2 times and this time tried the Husky Sledging ..what a fantastic experience. The huskies are very well looked after and very happy. Sean and Alex are great rangers who know the dogs so well and had so much knowledge on the huskies. We enjoyed meeting the huskies in the morning... More

Went with my family and had a lovely day looking at the birds, there are also other animals like meerkats and huskies to see. Nice place to eat with a good children's play area. The talks given by the staff in the bird show were very interesting and informative. Would recommend.

We did the Husky Experience on Sunday 26 February, we spent the day with Alex and Shaun who were great fun, friendly and clearly cared about the welfare of all the animals. We learnt the back story and personality of all the Huskies before being able to go into their pens and put their harnesses on. We then had a... More

My friend and I were given husky sledding as a gift, so we decided to try it out. Overall, it was loads of fun, and the staff at Eagle Heights were also extremely friendly and always willing to help! It was a great day out, something I would highly recommend!!
