Booked online for 90 minute thai massage, which for me is deep pressure. Arrived very calming environment and was shown to a private area and asked if I wanted the aircon left on, yes please. She asked if any areas wanted extra work and I sai back torso area. She started washing down my feet and she proceeded to apply pressure and asked if I was ok, which I replied more pressure and she did. Every now and then she would ask about pressure, I replied perfect pressure and she got on with it. It was great. You would gear the odd person come in but it didn't bother me , I was in the zone, so good. I'll be going back again.

I popped in for a 30 minute foot massage. My attendant had no knowledge of pressure points or pain relief. Despite requesting 3 times during the session for more pressure, I was politely ignored. I limped in, and limped out. For the $50 charged, I would have had more satisfaction from a hot bath and some new body oil. Very, very disappointing service.

I visited Sabaidee last Friday for what I thought would be a one hour body massage which was a birthday gift. It was not a warm day outside, and the same could be said when I stepped inside. The reception area was cold. There definately should have been some heating on.
The massage bed was cold also - in fact, I have never experienced a massage before, where I was cold. Normally the bed would be heated and make for an enjoyable experience.
Prior to being taken to the room, I was asked if I was having a full body massage to which I replied, "yes". I would have thought this meant front and back, but only the back of my body was massaged and I felt towards the end, that the same parts of my body were being massaged over and over again.
The young lady massaging was pleasant, but I do not think a toilet break is professional during a massage session. Also, there was too much chatter.

Con artists like this need to be exposed for charging top dollar for providing a lackluster service.

The masseuse did not apply enough pressure even when asked. That was not the worst of it - she short changed me ten minutes on the table. Very sloppy service, very disappointed.

Went in with my husband for a 30min massage.
I asked for legs and feet. A few minutes into the massage I asked the lady for more pressure. She just looked at me as if she didn’t understand what I was saying, didn’t say a word then continued on with the same applied pressure. Again, I repeated my request a few minutes later and again the same reaction. I reduced my massage time to 15mins in the end out of politeness.

Booked a 90 minutes oil massage. It was not worth it, no pressure, just skin being lathered of oil. Also no front massage.

The massage routine was repeated twice so it can reach 90 minutes.

However, the staff is polite and welcoming.

Lovely people, not a great massage

The staff were very friendly and welcoming but lack training / knowledge of massage, especially if you are looking for a destressing, relaxing massage.
My masseuse started well but then took a phone call a few minutes in. A few minutes after that, she left me on the bed - not even a sheet over me - to answer the door and take a booking from a walk-in customer. After coming back, she made a phone call to get help.
After ten minutes on the bed, a different masseuse took over. Again, she started well but only did half a job (e.g I wasn't asked to roll over) which perhaps explains why, half-way through, she said she was finished and didn't know what to do with the remaining 40 minutes. Should she start over?
In addition, she then wanted to discuss the aliens amongst us, various conspiracy theories (e.g. 9/11), religion etc. Not exactly what I wanted to relax and perhaps even doze off. The constant beeping from the front office (phone? laptop?) didn't help.
As I said, they are lovely people and I didn't have the heart to say I wanted quiet, to direct the massage or leave so perhaps I'm partially at fault.

We had the best massage I have had outside of Thailand. I told them my problem areas. That is exactly what she worked on in the time frame. We made a return appt for a few days later

Very clean, punctual and professional. Choose "oil" unless you know what a Thai massage involves ( stretches out limbs) loved this place. My favourite thing to do in Havelock North!!! Support this great option locally it's a real massage not the kiwi version that leaves you needing more therapy. 5 stars for this place :)
