Overlooking the sapphire-blue waters of Lake Tahoe, Heavenly is one of the most unique snowsports destinations on the planet. With more terrain variety, more hidden glades, more rippin’ groomers than any Lake Tahoe resort, you've got plenty of decisions to make.

After several days of skiing we just wanted a chill day on the tubing hill at the top of the gondola. At minimum it will cost you a gondola ticket plus a tubing ticket. Expect to pay $75-100 per person for the event. The tubing hill looks great with a covered magic carpet ride to the top and 5 runs.... More

Heavenly is a premier skiing destination on its best days, but Mother Nature can frequently spoil your Heavenly experience. The winds at the top can get very strong on occasion and necessitate the closure to some of the best runs due to safety concerns. This was the case the last time I visited the place. Although you can't plan on... More

We bought 3 tubing passes and 1 mini tube. Mini tubing was about what you'd expect for little kids. The tubing was ridiculous. The lines didn't seem long but it took my kids at least 45 minutes to do one ride. Very frustrating. There were 5 runs so in theory you could have 5 people sled at the same time.... More

A group of us skied Heavenly for several days in March. We are all experienced skiers, have skied in the West, East and Europe and some work at mountains in Vermont. I was hit by a border coming out of the trees as I was going into the mid lift, next to the restaurant. Our group tried to get the... More

Pros - great views, really accessible tree skiing in widely spaced trees, ground shuttles, nice staff. Cons - price, resort is two distinct sides and wides can force you to stay on one side, rediculous food prices, burger fries and coke is 23$ Ok its a vail resort so does the above surprise you? great place to stop for a... Heavenly were in the middle of a record snow fall season when we went which made for great conditions although turned in to spring season by the time we left ie sticky snow on the flatter trails. This was our third time here but not for 7 years and I was really looking forward to it. I was disappointed. Pros:... More

The views of Lake Tahoe simply can't be beat. Tons of fabulous runs overlooking the lake, and lots of snow this year! Sneak over to the Nevada side for desert views. Relatively short lift lines, even during SF valley Ski Week. Highly recommend Powderbowl lift and far left tree runs. Short hike for amazing powder. Can't wait to get back... More

Good sized mountain with varied terrain. Easy to get to. Gorgeous views of the lake. Spring skiing conditions made the snow a little more like cement, but not Heavenly's fault. Overall an awesome mountain. Only downside is a number of the lifts are slow. Epic pass works here. Pro tip: find someone with an epic season pass and use their... More

Heavenly is a gorgeous mountain. If you're in Tahoe during ski season, I highly recommend skiing at Heavenly. It's pretty easy to ski and some of the most stunning views I've ever seen. It's a big resort and they shut down some of the lifts early, so be careful not to get caught on the other side of the mountain... More

Heavenly's views are some of the most beautiful in all of Lake Tahoe. On the California side, Ridge Run and High Five (both blue runs) have great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. On the Nevada side, Dipper has similar views of the lake. Heavenly has employees on both Ridge Run and Dipper to take photographs which can be... More
