Be ready to climb over 500 steps up to the shrine. Bring water with you. be careful with small green snakes, the size of a pencil, falling from trees near the area where you light candles and pray.

This was included in our island tour during our stay in Tugawe Cove Resort.. It took as 1 hour and you have to be in shaped . This is not advisable for oldies and need to provide cold drinks. Found wth chapel on the side...More

adrenaline rush.. heheheh dont go up if your not physically fitted, bring some bottle of water and its nice to be there during sunrise.

It's long but lovely hike to the Virgin Mary shrine some 15km away from Caramoan town (not 9-10km walk but a good 15km hike, my guide book was incorrect with this distance). You're rewarded with some amazing views, both of the coastline and the interior....More

come and let you sweat to come out the place has a nice view especially above near mama marry and know the history of it! the people are friendly but expect what is not expected especially when you arrive in the island :))
