About
An enchanting castle silhouetted against the backdrop of the Cuneo Alps, first inhabited by Valerano, the Lord of the Marquisate of Saluzzo. Among the medieval era interiors, the salon stands out. A baronial setting where one of the most...more

The frescos are wonderful, wonderfully painted figures and animals. For the frescos alone this castle is worth a special detour.

There are some beautiful frescos here, but the written explanation does not provide information on artist or time period. There is also a fee to take photos.

Really worth the small walk up. Nice view over the wine fields. Free entry to walk around. Also a museum inside.

Beautiful ancient castle with absolutely stunning frescos. The audio tour, available in English, cleverly described the characters of the castle's storied past. The castle's chapel is also amazing. Highly recommend!

This castle doesn't look like much from the outside. It's actually rather small but has some real treasures. When buying tickets, I bought an extra ticket that allowed me to take photographs (that's a first!), but it was well worth it. You get a headset...More
