While walking down L Cardenas you come to an attractive woman's appeal shop at #156 A. Do yourself a favor and drop in to this little gem. The clothes are of excellent quality and new items seem to arrive daily. I am proud to say I am an expert at purchasing cotton as well as linen clothes in Puerto Vallarta... More

Great city, smaller than Puerto Vallarta. Nice shopping with a great variety. Nice clothing store on corner with great baptism choices for your or someone elses child. And nice lace tableclothes.Great Cathedral to visit and light a candle if that is your thing. Taking the local bus is so much fun-people,man playing a guitar if your lucky-with people singing along, even .chickens.... More

Very safe, good restaurants at reasonable prices, friendly people. Far less expensive than Hawaii or the Carrabean

Bucerias is one of the small towns along the coast north of Puerto Vallarta. There are many galleries, rental condos, and superb local restaurants. Of note Sandrinas, Rosa Restaurante Mexicano, Marks, Miguel Angel. Easy to get to by taxi from either PV or Nueva Vallarta.

If you're in the Banderas Bay you must definitely check out Bucerias, it's a 20-30 minute walk from the Riu's and Decameron. You can stroll the beach until you get there or walk the cable stone roads. Nice artisan market and bars and restaurants. Be sure to catch the amazing sunset from the beach.

From our hotel (Riu Palace Pacifico) Bucerias was a $7 cab ride away w/ plenty of flea market shops for your gift buying. There and back between breakfast and lunch!
