My travel agent mentioned Bucerias to me and I decided to walk the beach to it. She said it was a 45 minute walk from our hotel (Riu Jalisco) and that’s was pretty much accurate. The tour guides would have you believe it’s over an...More

Drive out on our own. Hard to find parking but a nice guy helped squeeze us in. We had a very nice lunch on the beach and a stroll through the shops afterwards. It was a very pleasant to spend an afternoon

About a 5 mile walk from Occidental in Nuevo Vallarta, north on beach or a 10 minute taxi ride. Beautiful seaside village with flea market and art shoppes. Good food in either the restaurants seaside or the food busses. Massages for great prices. Highly recommend

I have seen jet ski rentals, but didn't use them. I wouldn't say that Bucerias is good for snorkeling because the water is too murky. There's lots of boating/sailing options though. We don't have kids, so I don't know what... More

It is on the street that butts up to the ocean....way down the street to the north end. Another great Italian restaurant is Toscana Mia. Just does not have the beautiful ocean view
