This is an exceptional native pottery museum. The pottery tells a history of this region that is different than other parts of Mexico. The immigrants to Colima came from a different part of South America than the rest of Mexico. A remarkable accomplishment.

I was not familiar with Rangel's work and really enjoyed visiting this museum. It is located in an old hacienda with lovely grounds. I loved the art. Definitely a "must see" in the Colima area.
