Beautiful, crystal-clear lagoon surrounded by lush rainforest and containing underwater caves: a great destination for snorkelers and scuba divers.

After gong to the Pet Cemetery Cenote with the family, we stopped by the Eden Cenote. It was a really nice finish to the cooler waters of the Pet Cemetery Cenote and it started off with a cliff jump into the clear waters. Now I...More

We went here from the Barceló resort across the road. The walk was not far to the entrance. However, once on the path to the cenote the mosquitoes were terrible. We did not wear bug spray as not to pollute the cenote. The price was...More

Good change of pass from the beach and a taste of real Mexico if you have been at a resort! Bring pesos for the best entry deal, we only had US $ and ended up haggling a little to get to a fair price. Not...More

better have a vehicle with all wheel drive to get in . Our driver was a hero. lots of families enjoying the water but not overly crowded. very basic facilities, not commercialized at all.

The place to dive its really good. However, its always packed with divers, snorkels and swimmers which makes it a pain to get in and out of the water or find parking. For a better experience go early in the morning

Absolutely gorgeous cenote! Crystal clear water, great platform and cliff to jump from! Great for kids--there are large rocks that create great shallow spots for kids to rest on when swimming. They only take pesos at the entrance, but well worth the $100 pesos!

Beautiful clear water for snorkeling and diving, plus fun high points to jump off into the water. Also had nice shaded areas and a couple of picnic tables for our lunch. Truly delightful all around.

We returned to Jardin del Eden after a couple years. It got better! They added a gate, for security reasons, they also added more "palapas" (thatch huts) and the best improvement: Diving plataforms. They have two platforms that people can safely jump from all day...More

Lovely large fresh water swimming hole to cool off in and swim/relax in. This spot is great for families to snorkel or scuba dive in. Jump into it and play all while having Doctor Fish nibble away at your dead feet skin. Beautiful clear colored...More

Hi there. I'm just wondering what number/route for the collectivo. We are coming from the north side of Playa and it'd be great to just jump in one of those instead of having to rent a car or a driver for the day. Any info would be great! Thank you!

The Cenote is a long way from the main road so it might be worth hiring a car or taking a taxi. Also you are in the middle of the jungle so mozzie repellent is a necessity
