The Hunter Valley zoo had a good range of exhibits for a small country zoo, notably the primates, the white lions & all the birds. The meerkats with their babies were very appealing as were the tamarins & the pygmy marmosets. Well worth a visit.

Great day out can spend a couple of hours or all day. Heaps of kids birthday parties the day we went. Mid week may be better if you don't have school aged kids. Plenty of animals to see.

I did the Meerkat Encounter and it was Awesome!!! Had a fantastic time with the little meerkats, they're adorable. I would recommend it to anyone that loves Meerkats. The Zoo itself is good too.

The owners have clearly spent time and money on this zoo, which has an amazing variety of animals and birds. Just the right size for Nana and Grandpa.

Awesome little zoo that was very interactive. Staff were excellent and knowledgeable. Stars of the show were the snuggly emu, Bruiser the Lion and the baby goats (all kept separately don't worry).

I am sorry but I cannot answer your query. The Zoo is a little off the beaten track but if you are in the vicinity I am sure that the local Tourist Bureau can help you.
