Visited Pench Tiger reserve twice, Tadoba once . Not sighted a single Tiger. Decided to try our luck at Kanha Tiger Reserve . This time as well , our luck was unchanged . Did not see a single Tiger this time as well. The people in Gypsy ahead of us saw the Tiger , By the time we reached near their... More

Kanha National Park is one of the best Wild Life Reserves I have seen in India and abroad and would certainly like to visit again in future. Park entry system is well organized and staff is very helpful.

Kanha, as a national park is 2000 square kilometers. Only 20% of it is open to tourists. There is too much complexity and information deficiency on getting an entry into the national park. There are primarily 4 places (gates) to get into the Kanha National Park. These are Sarhai, Kanha & a couple more. For visiting the National Park, one... More

The jungle is beautiful and being the first safari ever in my life, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of heading out at 5.30am, shivering despite the hot water bottle and a thick blanket over layers of winterwear. Even at 11am on our way back, the air is chilly as the sun shines over. Thick jungle and dense undergrowth meant that... More

This park is just beautiful. The lighting is amazing. There are so many animals and birds to see. Even though their were a lot of jeeps in the park, it did not feel cramped.

This is a serene tiger reserve but be warned that the changes to Indian tiger reserve regulations that restrict tourists to 20% of the park area and the banning of elephant viewing for the 'normal' tourist means that sightings of tigers are more limited and usually distant or fleeting.

This is one park that will never disappoint a true nature lover. Scenic, serene, satiating. Adjectives will perhaps be less for the experience you get in Kanha. One of the most disciplined national parks, very well managed. A big credit for this park would go to the good drivers and guides of this park. They are all local tribals, very... More

though we got only a glimpse of tiger late one evening at the exit point, the jungle at kanha is mysterious and capturing the attention. a paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers with many different speices of flora and fauna. beautiful sal forests with leaves dripping with the sound of water early in the morning, a sight to behold.

Don't go here expecting to see tigers on one trip. This is not a zoo. You should schedule several trips, and hope you will be privileged to see these amazing animals in the wild. If you are lucky, you may also see some of the other rare inhabitants of the area. The park is beautiful and very well cared for.... More
