Very isolated location but well signposted. The lady at the entrance had some English and explained where to go, and said she would be unlocking the most famous tomb in 5 minutes and to meet her there. There was an Italian couple waiting to be shown too, when we were let in the guide explained at length in Italian about... More

Unique place! you can visit some tombs built according to Nuragic style. The pearl of this archaelogical site is the Boss' tomb. Thanks to great and well prepared guides (they speak English as well) you can understand the different uses of this tomb through the centuries and have the look of the great affrescos inside. It was well indicated on the Road. The guide gave a very impressive explanation of the grotta del capo and was willing to explain the Kids everything. Before the guided tour you could visit with a map the other tombs and the sacred Bull. Unfortunately the map was Tot very clear.

A series of interconnected burial chambers carved out of the rock. The largest chambers, whose entrance is gated and locked dates from 5,000 years ago. There are remains of original decoration, followed by Roman, followed by early Christian, followed by Christian from middle ages.
