About
A medium-sized family run orchard located near Bentong, Pahang. We have approximately 300 trees that produce various varieties of durians such as Musang King, D24, tekka, D2, D101 and of course the classic "Durian Kampong". Jimmy's Durian Orchard is just a short and easy one hour drive (or less) from the heart of Kuala Lumpur. As it is situated right beside the Karak Highway, you won't have difficulty finding it! Visitors to our orchard may enjoy an educational talk by the owner, Jimmy where one can learn about the biology of the trees, how to identify varieties of durians and also most relevantly (and importantly!) how to choose a good durian. Rest assured that you will only be given fresh good quality durians! After stuffing yourself in the orchard, visitors are encouraged to buy and bring back durians, We offer quality that you just can't find in the city. Other than durians, the orchard also has mangosteens, rambutans, duku and a variety of local fruit. Facilities are decent in the orchard (we have clean toilets!), however please bring some mosquito repellant and a hat or umbrella when visiting the orchard.

me and my friends around 30-40 pax visited this farm on mid Feb, CNY chap goh mei, the owner offered us a walk at the durian orchard and said if we manage to pick any durian along the way we walked, it is our luck (confused what does he mean).
We didn't manage to taste any single durian during our stay, eventhough we found some small durians during the orchard walk, so not sure is good or bad luck, we cannot judge if their durian is good or bad. i will not recommend any friend to visit this farm. the room is just too pricy if it does not include a taste of durian.

Very disappointed, poor service, dirty and smelly toilet, MSK durian RM48 per kg and average RM80 per durian consider exorbitantly expensive because the MSK durian taste just like normal kampong durian.

Jimmy was so rude and cocky keep bragging about his mediocre MSK, have witnessed Jimmy humiliating his indian worker and quarrelling with another Chinese worker on that day.

Jimmy, please be humble, learn about manner, attend Customer service classes and try MSK durian from other estate to understand good durian.

There are better MSK durian in Karak and elsewhere, please be warned now then regret later.

I enquiry nicely with the person incharge, however get this kind of rude reply,
Guess there are just too famous and forget about the customer service, don't they?
Saw a lot of reviews on the overpriced issues as well.
Well, guess I will try my luck in other farms, after all there are so many alternatives out there. =)

A family of 9 members visited the orchard on 21 Aug.
jimmy attended to us, we selected two durians each fr local durians, D24, mou sang Wong low land and highland . Later we took another two durians mou sang Wong highland. In total we had 10 durians.
We enjoyed the durians, ambience, the hospitality , and two were half ripe, the lady boss had replaced them .
It costs us RM500. Just wonder if this is over priced?

Dear Wong, We are delighted to see that you and your family have had a fantastic time eating durians and enjoying the ambience and hospitality at our orchard. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority and we try to uphold to our standards as much as possible. I am very much saddened that you didn't find our durians suitable for your budget. However, I trust that you were well informed of the prices before you ordered. We highly recommend that, in the next season, you and your family come during the weekdays during mid-season when the supply of durians will be at its most plentiful to get the best deals. Best regards, Adrian Loke

Jimmy's durian orchard Durian quatilty is good. However the boss attitude not. Even his employees have better attitude/ service then him. What I can say is he is $$$ face people. Seem like he have no good knowledge on the species. He took "Teka" & charge me Musang price. Lucky I open on the spot, though I "Tau Bao". Then after he only pay me back the price differences by estimation weight.

Was there first time. The fruits was good and the orchard well kept and clean. The price is far too pricey. Inconsistency of pricing. The owner quoted one price but upon paying the price was far more than what was quoted..For those who are contemplating to visit, please confirm the pricing and make sure you check the weight before consuming. You may be taken for a ride with their charges.

Dear Angie, We are happy that you enjoyed the quality of our fruits and the cleanliness of our facilities. I have checked with Jimmy and to our knowledge there was never a case where one of our customers experienced inconsistencies with the pricing. I urge you to give us a call so that we can attend to your situation. Regarding the pricing of durians, the prices of durians change every day. This is because we also need to source durians from other reputable orchards as the supply is extremely low this season and they follow the market price which is at a high point now due to the supply issue. Please note that if your durian doesn't meet our standards, we will not hesitate to replace your durian. For durians at lower prices, it is better to come during the big seasons where supply is plenty. Usually there are two seasons per year in our orchard with a big season and a small season. Currently in March/April 2017 we are experiencing a small season where there is a very low number of durians. We apologise for your confusion and hope that you will visit us again! Best regards, Adrian

Dear Lim, I am shocked to hear that. If it was really the case that the durians were not good, we would have replaced them for you on the spot. When exactly did you visit us? Please don't hesitate to correspond. We hope that we would be able to change your heart about us in the future.

I visited Jimmy's Durian Orchard last week and was blown away by the best durians I have ever tasted. The couple operating it - Tanya and Jimmy were most friendly and courteous and one could eat all you want to one's heart's desires.

To book, visit their facebook page of Jimmy's Durian Orchard and send a message to the page or you can call the number on the Tripadvisor page which is Tanya's.

They have durians, mangosteen and rambutan and langsat as well for those who do not fancy just durians. However they are seasonal.

Durian varieties are - musang king, tekka, D101 and D24. Currently the prices are around rm25 per kg for musang king, rm15 per kg for tekka, rm10 for D101 and D24. The prices are much cheaper than what you can get in KL but be aware please that prices always fluctuate and sometimes it can really increase by a lot.

All of Jimmy's durians are completely organic. They do not use pesticide or chemical fertilizers. Only organic fertilizers and enzymes.

The orchard is about less than an hour's drive from KL city depending on traffic through the Karak highway. It is located right beside the highway at the KM75 marker.

A new building to cater for visitors is almost complete. It will have shade and a place to enjoy durians. They also have a clean proper toilet.

Highly recommended!
