This place far exceeded my expectations. The grounds provide well-maintained pastures, plantations and cropland. The cafe has excellent coffee and sweets. The gift shop is piled with goodies... snacks, home-grown coffee, honey, jams, and much more... all at very reasonable prices! Don't miss the small museum of elaborately woven vestments produced decades ago... some for very special occasions. The church is peaceful and simple... just right for a bit of personal reflection.

The solemn beauty of this place is mesmerizing. The location is ideal for retreats and solemn weddings. Tourists and travelers would take 10-15 minutes drive from Malaybalay City.

When you passes by the City of Pines in Malaybalay City, it is a must to see the well manicured landscaped of this monastery being maintained and sustained by the monks. Try also to have a sip of their coffee.

I could not seem to take my eyes off of the infrastructure. The place was incredibly solemn, and even more so because it was quiet, even though a lot of people attended the mass. The choir was phenomenal as well. I left the monastery a humbled person. I thanked God for the good experience.

Attended a wedding & the place is just divine! We were there years ago & lots have changed. They have Abbey Cafe almost next to the church, with a souvenirs & goodies to take home. Their coffee is always good, not acidic & big servings!

I came here with my friend’s family to visit this place wherein they have a chapel within its grounds.

The chapel is well designed and well maintained.

Going here is a long drive and there is no public transportation coming here. You will need to drive or rent a vehicle.

The first time I saw the Church was in 2012. It was a beautiful hidden monastery in the middle of nowhere with access via a dirt road. I have returned several times already and have done retreats there over the years. Until now, the place does not disappoint. It is always wonderful to visit, watch the monks in prayer, enjoy the cool mountain air and drink their premium monk’s blend coffee. There has been so much progress over the years and the place is more easily accessible already and the masses are now well attended. They have a museum of liturgical vestments made from local tribes and artisans that is also a must visit.

I love passing by the Monastery during my Bukidnon travels. It is situated away from the city noise, hence I consider it a solemn haven for those who intend to meditate. I spoke with Fr Dom during one of my visits and he blessed me, we talked about forgiveness and happiness. I came in with a heavy load and left free from the burden of stress. I really love it there ❤

It’s a quiet place where you can pause for awhile and pose for a few pictures you can definitely post online. If you happen to have time, stop for a quick visit.

As Taoist, I was pleasantly surprised at the strong Zen influence of this Catholic Monastery in Bukidnon, close to Malaybaly City. We saw a beautiful wedding on our Saturday visit, and on Sunday we visited after Mass, and it is an obvious attraction for locals as well as tourists.
