Awesome beach, the only downside would be the sound of the long tail boats, going and coming, but eventually you'll get use to it

Railay is beautiful! Definitely go early to beat the crowds. You can rent kayaks for 200 baht for an hour. They rope of a big section for swimming, the water is lovely. Plenty of places to eat, and good prices too.

The beach doesn't have much to offer, I went to Railay beach 3 times and everytime I walked to Phra Nang beach. Its a small beach, everyone is sunbathing and everything is overpriced.

Paradise beach. Amazing views. Places to eat and drink. Just stunning. Location can only be done via a speed boat or long tail boats.

Echoing the above - the long boats are the typical transport. As others have mentioned, these are on the "roughing it side". While that's one reason I enjoyed it, be aware that these are not the same as the luxury boats... More

The climb to the viewpoint is very steep, almost 80 degrees or more. I did it on the spur of the moment in flipflops! The view is spectacular - you could see both East and West Railey. Dangerous climb over rocky terrain and... More
