Awesome beach, the only downside would be the sound of the long tail boats, going and coming, but eventually you'll get use to it

Echoing the above - the long boats are the typical transport. As others have mentioned, these are on the "roughing it side". While that's one reason I enjoyed it, be aware that these are not the same as the luxury boats that one takes in many US offshore tours. You do not board from a fixed dock; instead, you walk out into the water, perhaps up to the thigh as mentioned in another review. There is a metal ladder that hangs over the side of the boat. It is not steep and a fit adult or child can easily climb it. You will need to carry your own luggage. You will need to get it out to the boat in *one* trip - you can't go back to the beach very easily to make multiple. This may be a trouble with so many people and an infant, unless you can carry quite a bit yourself or have packed light. Also, you will be transporting the luggage in the front of the boat. WATER will likely spray onto the luggage, so be sure to put anything that needs to stay dry in a drybag. Your things will be mixed with those of others, but usually you can find a longboat accommodating you and what you can carry out. I loved the long boats, but if the above isn't workable, you may want to see if you can get a private boat. I know these are possible since we did it one trip, but unfortunately I did not make the arrangements and am not sure how that is done. The hotel surely will have run into this sort of situation before and can advise you.
