This beach looks just like all the photos you see of Thai beaches. It has amazing cliffs and blue-green water. The water was quite warm but the beach wasn't very crowded. Watch out for jellyfish even when wading. If you do get stung, locals on the beach will offer you medicine - take it, it works!

This beach which is very near to Aonang gives you a peek into the real experience you would get on Phi Phi Islands. We took a longtail boat taxi from Aonang to reach here. The climb on and off is very dangerous for the elderly. My mom got hit by the ladder on the longtail. She suffered a bad swelling... More

Go to Ao Tonsai, just next door, more chilled, less people, same views. There's an easy access to Railay by the jungle, next to the rocks or on the rocks at low tide. You can also rent a kayak for 200 baht here full day. It is pretty simple to visit Railay from Tonsai but honestly it was really really... More

This is a lovely beach to spend a few days. You won't find a busy nightlife. It's worth to rent kayak.

Went by tailboat from ao nang 200 baht return boats run as often as there are 6 people. Takes 5/10 mins lovely scenery on route. Lovely beach with quaint places to eat and drink.

Nice beach surrounded by cliffs, beautiful site. Sand is bit dence and tightly packed when you first arrive but further down the beach it turns powdery and white. Also further down beach there are longtail boats selling food, snacks snd drinks including beer and an area for massages (its under the trees so you end up with mosquito bites). Waters... More

Yes you will not be alone, but for the scenery itself worth the trip to this beautiful beach. It's a classic not to be missed. For going there, it's by boat, there's no road going there. Enjoy!

I had high expectations, but they did not come true. I thought white sandy beach, but it is just a normal beach. Too much tourists and too little room. The boat trip from AoNang is also a hassle. They only go when they have at least 8 passengers. We almost waited for half an hour, not very customer friendly! I... More

Railay Beach (west) is definitely beautiful and you can easily walk to Railay East and Phra Nang Beach from Railay West. The snorkeling from the beach is not that great and if you're like us and have a hard time doing nothing ( sunbathing ;) ) we highly recommend renting a kayak! We rented a kayak (300 THB - 2...
