Far less crowded as the beaches in the south. Take a really morning dolphin trip. Look for boat nr. 13. This captain will show you the dolphins for sure!

The black sand at Lovina gives you different feeling. Good view for sunrise while waiting for dolphin to say hi. Suggested time to visit - early morning.

We went to Lovina being attracted by numerous ads underlining fine beaches in the area. Unfortunately any place we went to was dirty, so finally we decided to revise our trip schedule and return to Southern Bali earlier.

Very beautiful sunset but the black sand beach itself is just ok. There are lots of touts on the beach so keep your guard up.

Not many people around, neat little place with mudskippers in the small water flow, small crabs in the glittering sand at night.
