The church stands in the middle of the town near the river with an extended small garden and is open to all though photography is not allowed yet the Father permitted us to take quick pictures on our visit . All in a pleasant experience walking on the French presence in Bengal .

This is a quiet, neatly kept church in a small, commercial town. The grounds are pleasant and serene, and the interior of the temple is similarly peaceful, reverent, and well-maintained. I do recommend this church for a quick visit if you are going to be in Chandanaggar. Nearby there is also an esplanade with a view of the river. See... More

Its located very near to the Strand (Ranighat). The church stands for over two centuries to mark the beauty of the architecture during the French period — a good place to visit for the historians and tourists alike. Very similar to Bandel church. We were lucky to meet the Father during our visit. No photography allowed inside.

The finest example of colonial French architecture in Bengal. The church used to be the centre point of Chandernagore during the colonial days. It is a big church with beautiful interiors. Worth visiting during Christmas.

Went to this place on the week of Christmas on my trip to Chandannagar and probably the best time to visit this church as it is well decorated with lights and idols depicting birth of Jesus and however there was little bit crowd though. It is located just off the Chandannagar strand nad it is called 'Sacred Heart Church' [l'Eglise du...
