This is a must if you are visting Barreal. If you have the chance try to book at "El Aleman" one month before in order to stay one night there (dinner includign) and have the chance to see through the telescope.
If you have a tent and time - then you have to visit Parque Nacional El Leoncito !! We took a detour from RN40 and drove down RN149 and it was worth it just for this park.

Eat before you go and wear your warm jackets, if you go to the observatory you might wait around for the wind to die down and then you are stargazing outside so it gets chilly. WELL WORTH IT though, the sky in Barreal is glorious
