We stayed close to the Malecon and walked there both during the day and in the evening. Lots of locals are there in the evening. It's a nice place to walk and see, smell, and hear the ocean.

I loved the scenery here and it felt very elegant, European and obviously a place where Mexicans retire to. Lots of people exercising and just a lovely vibe/place!

Great place to relax, ride a bike, or go for a run. The sunset is beautiful, and after the sun goes down, the sky if full of colors.

The Campece malecon runs along the Gulf for a long distance and is quite suitable for walking of running. While you are there, note we various types of fishing boats tied up along the malecon.

We enjoyed walking along the malecon several times - late afternoon in the rain and early morning. Both times it was enjoyable - and hot - and in places there was a lot of trash from the gulf. Here: the city would do well to...More

We walked along the sea for miles but I nearly melted. Worth it. Will be back for more. Quiet (ignore the traffic) and very calming.
