We rented bikes from the Pirate shop on 59. We had checked out others but these were 150 pesos for all day. They had baskets and the bikes were in good shape. We explored the Malecon all day and really enjoyed it. We even went...More

Best time to run or take a walk on the waterfront promenade is early morning or at sunset. Not too busy, nice breeze, overlook to the Gulf of Mexico.

The folks in Campeche have done a lot to make their city beautiful and this is an example. The "malacon" stretches for several kilometres along the gulf. Good for strolling, jogging or biking. A couple of spots along the way have exercise machines. Nice to...More

Otherwise knows by locals as the "Malecon" is an excellent place to run or walk early mornings or afternoons. Beautiful views of the Campeche Bay. Recommended

Worth to take a walk, ride a bike or just sit and see the sunset. It is refreshing. Huindreds of people excersising, and enjoying a very well planned urban park next to the sea.

A great place to come for a cool walk in the heat of the day or at sunset. This extends in both directions from the historical centre for quite a ways. Great views of the gulf and for people watching.

Walked back from stocking up at the excellent Walmart to the city centre via this promenade. It's beautifully kept, but the shoreline is unloved and smelly. Campeche is in a beautiful seaside location... pity they can't make more of it. Always nice to see pelicans,...More

It's a very popular plaxe to visit in this city, yo can walk, run or ride a bike in a safe place at any hour. In the evenings the sunset will give you a time for relaxation and introspection. Definitely a must when you come...More

An evening stroll along the 'malecon' was not as nice as expected. You have the continuous background noise of 4 lanes of traffic and the water is quite polluted with plenty of plastic bottles floating in it.
