on our way from villahermosa to palenque we passed this laguna. We enjoyed a boat tour for bird viewing and met some dolphins, really nice. besides that, not worth to stop here.

Isla Aguada has an incredible natural view of the dolphins at its natural habitat. Yo can view birds and the dolphins, you can go to a small island with shells and swim in the sea and at the Laguna de Terminos

Went there to watch dolphins on January, there were more boats searching and following than dolphins, we only saw 3, and no closer than 40 feet. Then you go to a small island that you can walk around in less than 30 minutes and back....More

No hectic and simply perfect to enjoy the wonderful beach and amazing sea view. Not easy to get there without rental car.

You have to pass this Island if you wish to take the scenic route from southern Mexico to the Yucatan peninsula.The road follows the sea quite a lot and you also get nice views of the lagoon. Pelicans are seen in great numbers and there...More

Its a good place to take some nice pictures in a quick stop, even stay for a weekend if you pretend to do the tours that the place offer. Nice sightseing.

I love this place. We had the opportunity to see dolphins and enjoyed the small Island we stopped for swimming. People are very nice.
