Our guide was local and very knowledgeable. I was very happy that when I went to a stall and asked for water they simply offered it to me and didn't charge for it. The caves itself were well preserved and the river really is special. It is best to take your time to absorb it all. The water was cold... More

It is a fascinating area, nature tour, cultural ambiance and the best part is to get a "cave tour"...and soak in the waters in the cave. Gorgeous and relaxing.

The Blue Hole/Roaring River....DO NOT GO!!! Unless you are from the city and have never seen plants and water, this is a waste of your time and money. The $20 per person was a little steep, but after the effort we made to get there, we checked it out. Our guide Adrian Vassell was knowledgeable, but after the tour he... More

Lovely, scenic with gushing waters and never before seen greenery. Thundering decades old trees form the perfect back drop for a cool environment.

It's magical place if you believe in magic. The magic of nature, the magic of a small Jamaican town. the magic of authentic people. You will feel like walking into a african paint, full of colors and life. The magic in not on the government controlled caves, those were once magical too, but the government ruin it by bringing concrete... More

Just a visit with some local friends... drinks.. music... and good vybes The river can be dangerous at times.. especially with increase flow during a downpour.. make sure you have proper footwear as the stones can damage under your feet. Be safe and you'll have... More

I went with local Jamaican men who had taken me snorkeling the day before, (brothers Charlie and Conroy, from 'Charlies Sea of Tranquility' in Negril). It was a blast! We took some time for jumping off the bridge and a morning bath in the river before entering the caves. The locals were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to share their... More

I visited Roaring River with a local Jamaican friend, we arrived and Robert greeted us. After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor I was pleased that it was Robert who was our guide and he didn't disappoint. Some have complained about the lighting in the cave however any additional lighting would diminish the beauty of the caves. A truly relaxing... More

This is a must see, the most beautiful limestone series of underground caves, formed by the huge spring that is over 130 ft. Deep. The tour takes about 1 hr. To complete and has a small pool to soak in underground. The healing qualities of the spring a known around the world and is truly an experience to remember.
