We visited the caves today. Wow! We all really enjoyed Peters tour. He made it fun and very informative , but scary too. It was great value for money. The cafe served great food too. I would recommend it for a few hours, of brilliant...More

This may have been one of the top things we did in England. I was pleasantly surprised with the history that included both druids and WWII. I was hoping for more insight on the Roman use of the caverns but nothing was really said. However,...More

Had a fabulous time re visiting the Chislehurst caves after first going to see them with my parents 45 years ago. Steeped in history and myth, the man made caves were originally chalk and flint mines, and have been used as an ammunition store, air...More

Really interesting tour, get to carry your own Hurricane Lamp. Used for flint and chalk mining, WWI shell storage, mushroom growing, WWII Air Raid Shelter for 15,000, Jazz, Skiffle and Rock & Roll venue.

A genuinely pleasant and interesting surprise. Living locally, I thought I'd give it a go, expecting a hum-drum trip with desperate guides trying to make it sound remotely interesting. I couldn't have been more wrong. The place is pretty amazing. I won't spoil it too...More
