If you're not a cat fan, you probably won't appreciate this unfancy place – but if you are, it's a blast. More than 200 cats (about 10% of them the unique Manx breed) wander freely among various rooms and outdoor areas, mingling with chickens and turkeys and other animals. Everyone seems to get along fine and it's heart-warming to know... More

I had been meaning to visit on a couple of occasions when over on the island for the TT and Manx GP and this time managed to make it. I was totally amazed how the cats all meet you when you arrive, a must for all cat lovers to visit. I sat for ages with one cat on my knee... More

The cats greet you on arrival and are clearly well cared for and seem very happy. They rely on donations and that can be a box of cat food etc. No cat is turned away and I have to say it was quite an experience to see so many non related cats mixing without any problems.

I always visit here when I am over on the island. It is definitely a place for cat lovers! The cats roam freely and live in harmony with one another. During opening hours you are free to pet, stroke and play with any of the cats. All of them were very friendly and affectionate. I think it's a great idea... More

A beautiful, peaceful place, open on two afternoons each week to allow people to visit with the 'residents'. When we went yesterday, in the rain, lots of cats were out and about, coming up and talking, asking for strokes and treats and generally enjoying the company of the visitors. The cats here are all ages and some have disabilities but... More
