Really nice clean and comfortable lodge. The facilities at the main hotel were also fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was having to pay for extras such as WiFi in the lodge as we felt this should have been included in the price.

What a surprise when we arrived we were not expecting such a lovely place considering the price we paid. The 2 bed luxury lodge we stayed in was outstanding had absolutely everything you could imagine and was so clean and comfortable. The welcome from Kelly on reception made us feel at home straight away. The only down side is the... More

We stayed in the mansion house on the 3rd Floor. With no lift, there are quite a lot of stairs. Our accommodation consisted of a large lounge with dinning table, very small kitchen area with microwave, toaster, kettle, bathroom and bedroom The decor in the rooms were a bit dated but the views from the bedroom and lounge were lovely.... lodge we had rented was fine. Except for lack of airco and free wifi, which should be included in the price, not so customer friendly to charge 6£ a day. But the staff is astonishing disfunctional: is this lack of intelligence or motivation. We had some simple reasonable request, this had to be passed to headquarters, managers, days went by... More

Really nice place to stay. Booked an apartment/ cabin really luxurious, very comfortable, had everything you could possibly need. Would quite like to live there. restaurant was a bit of a disappointment though, not as expected for quality and service.

Played here in June as near to where we were staying. Nice layout in parkland setting along and around a river valley. Very pleasant staff in pro shop and welcoming starter on first tee. Offered afternoon discount rate despite being early for that offer. Thank you. Only word of advice is if told by pro shop that course is not... More

Lovely undulating course. Well kept and nice to play. Well worth the green fee. Great setting for a game.

Really impressive when you pull up, looks the part, Brilliant setting, views and club house, Staff and pro's really great, but soon you realise this is such a wasted opportunity. The house was Lord Kitchener's. I think he is now saying "your golf course needs a rethink" I couldn't see on the website who designed the course and no surprise... More
