I had taken my car and it took about 4 hours to reach from Kolkata. The total distance was about 220 kms. The road condition was good, except for a stretch of 5 km at... More

Maa Tara temple is a holy place but business is going on there for more than a decade. If you want to go inside and touch Maa Tara's feet, you will have to pay Rs 300 per head. Otherwise awesome place

Tarapith is a religious destination. There are lots of good hotels at the nominal price. The road just in front of the temple is full of eateries and restaurants where you get both veg and non-veg food, with special mention to the jumbo sized Langcha.
