The kids loved looking for bad Eddie's treasure and looking around a real shipwreck. It was fascinating and on a lovely piece of beach, will definitely be back.

I remember as a child this being really cool. Has badly deteriorated now. Makes a beach walk a bit more interesting but the wreck itself is in bad shape now

Absolutely amazing spot. My 8 and 5 years old loved the place. To take a full advantage of the place you must check the app or newspaper for the tides time and visit when the tide is out. It was magic.

A great place for children[unless it rains].Walk to the water's edge from the wreck and be uplifted by the view.

Such a wide sandy beach! Really wonderful for kids, I should imagine. When the tide is out, you can walk right up to the 'Cara na Mara' ('Friend of the Sea' -- 'bád Eddie' just means 'Eddie's boat'), but I would recommend that you walk...More
