Do hire government guides. They charge you ₹300 but they show you good amount of beauty. It's most beautifully carved temple.

This is 12 century temple built during the time of the Hoysala Dynasty. The detail and workmanship is incredible and one best preserved temples we have seen. The freezes and figures depict life during that period. Don’t miss
