We used VRBO to find our condo for a week in St Marteen. Bland sentence, bland expectations. Wow. Suite 5 A was a 3 bedroom bombshell with a full kitchen/great room, 3 baths, amazing views of the the harbor and of the French side and the ocean. We would be happy and pleased to find a place this anywhere we... More

I would only go to this place if it was close to where I was staying. There are three average restaurants and a mini-mart/liquor store. I would not make a special trip to go there.

We stayed in the area looking over the harbour for 2 weeks. Wow! The views were amazing. We would also walk along Oyster Pond Road and the Docks for some more great views. Some great little restaurants (Mama Pizza, Dingy Dock, Quai Quest, etc.) in the area. The area is residential so its a little quiet which we loved but... More

It cost us $12 for an umbrella and 2 beach chairs. It would've been $30 on Orient Beach. It's a nice small beach but you have to careful of the undertoe. Mr. Busby's is close by for a meal and drinks.

Oyster Pond is a great place to stay on St. Maarten - quiet with a real European feel to it. Really enjoyed our time there!

Service was not particularly friendly (docking for fuel, I asked for water for the boat and with a hose right there, the attendant said no. I wanted to check in to see if they had space for us to dock for the night, he said "Can't say, the office is closed" at 11am on Wednesday and didn't know when it... More

A nice place to relax and take in the sunset or sunrises. A couple of restaurants near by to enjoy it.
