There are 2 locations: the larger theme park style springs for super cheap, or the more private spa-like springs for a bit more money. I'm pretty thrifty, but I feel it was totally worth it to spend the extra money for the more private hot spring experience. These springs also include a fun mud bath option and a nice buffet... Comfortable, no-frills spa in the foothills of the Andes, this review is for the hot springs and not any hotel or restaurants attached to the "Termas Cacheuta". There are 8 or 9 different pools with spring waters of temperatures varying from very cold to very hot, some under overhead cover in case the midday sun is too intense. There are... More

Definitely worth a day here to relax, once you've done the wineries. Buttini bus from the station costs 46 pesos return and entry in is 110 pesos. Last stop on the bus takes 1 hour roughly. Leaves Mendoza at 9am and 10.30am.

My friends and I went during the winter and we did not have any of the crowd problems that people speak of. The outdoor pools provide an amazing view. We rented a car, I do not know if there is a way to get here on public transport.

Loved this place! Even thought there was a lot of people at the time of my visit I would still give this place 5 starts. I went for a holiday so it was expected to be crowded. However, the view and the pools made up for everything. Really relaxing!

First you are wondering, why the entrace price plus transfer is so cheap (about 15€p.P) but when you arrived them you know why: -its very fresh inside -streetdogs are drinking from the pool -its defently not like a european standard -there are no deck chairs Altough the termal baths offer great view on the mountains and the outside aera is... This is a perfect activity for one of your spare days in Mendoza. The cost still shocks me, we paid $1000 peso equivalent to $100 NZD.. So cheap! This included an incredible buffet lunch, massage, transfers from your hotel and all day access to the spa (sauna and mud)

It was a disappointing visit.. We took a bus from Mendoza which was cheap (23 pesos single ticket, they didn't sell return ticket so we paid double which was still cheap).. We arrived on Tuesday afternoon and the gate guards didn't want to let us in because it was too crowded. After showing bus ticket we could enter. The place... More

After driving on a hot day from Mendoza we decided to enter the park even though it was crowded. The place itself is ok and has a beautiful view but they should accept less people. It was so crowded that you could hardly find a place for a family to sit down. The pools were full of people and it... More
