I went to Concha de Perla 3 times, and it was great. The one thing we learned though, is to GO IN THE MORNING!!! The one time we went early in the morning (9ish) we saw much more than both the other times. I got to play with sea lions which is incredible and we saw many more turtles and... More

We decided to visit Concha de Perla in the afternoon, and it was OK. Mind you, it's not the best time of day to go because of the low tide. I would recommend that if you want to all sorts of fish, turtles, ect. ( which is basically why you should go there ) go there in the morning, and... More

This place is a real treat. We came here every day swimming with sealions, turtles, eagle rays and so much more.

Concha de Perla is a great area for snorkeling that doesn't require a tour or tour guide. There is always something amazing to see if you pay attention.

Well worth a visit - the mangrove trail is beautiful and you may have to hop around a few sea lions to get there. Pegs to hang up your clothes/ bag, and a great little spot to swim around. Be sure to swim close to the mangrove/ rocks to see more. Plenty of fish and a couple of marine turtles... More

Its just a 5 min walk from the pier to that point. Its been a nice walk actually, mangroven trees every where and the sealions are lying on your way. Its like a smal bay where you dont have to be afraid about the waves and current. We saw turtles, no penguins (what we were expecting) and some sealions were... More

It is a beautiful pace where you can go by your own. It is five minutes walk from the pier and it has a perfect wat to get there.

While it was "OK", this was the most disappointing of all our snorkels in the Galapagos. There was a very strong current and a lot of the water was blurry due to cold/heat inversions.

This place can be reached via a wooden walkway through the mangroves. You can swim with the sea lions and penguins if you're lucky and get to the right spot. Be careful not to get carried away though! I snorkelled here without using fins, got carried away in the current, which I couldn't swim against and ended up having to... More

This little cover, more like a lagoon is a lovely place to visit and go swimming or snorkeling in. It's just near the jetty a short 10 to 15 min walk from town. You'll see lots of marine iguanas and seals on the boardwalk leading to it. There's a nice deck at the end of the boardwalk and steps to... More
