This is a great sandy beach, where dogs are welcome all year round! Easy parking and opposite the Gallivant for a spot of lunch!

Came to stay for one night that happened to be very windy. Luckily the following morning the wind had died down, so a nice walk along the beach, certainly blew the cobwebs away.

The beach itself is lovely. We went on a sunny day in March and the beach was perfectly empty, but windy to the point where you had to walk on an angle and kept getting sand whipped into your eyes on the dunes. Not avoidable,...More

So dog friendly here it's just a beautiful Sandy Beach! The only thing is the car park was open when we visited (end of Feb) but all toilets were locked which I think is a bit un fair.

Miles of sand, good value parking and a variety of facilities but largely unspoilt and peaceful although that might just be the case in February! It felt unlikely to ever be crowded.
